Heat wave with a few flurries

I heart this winter....I mean, it has been absolutely perfect. Ok, so every now and then I complain a little about it...that's just cause I can never tell what to wear or what season we're in. Poor groundhog, must have been super confused. One day it's 20 and snowing, the next it's 70 and sunny. Even the temperature swings from sunrise to sunset has been as great as 30-40 degrees lately. And I kinda like it that way....just enough to snow...girls-thanks for joining me in acting like we were 5 and making snow angels wkend before last! But the cold doesn't last long and a few days later I am running outside with shorts and a t-shirt. It's absolutely beautiful....cause Lord knows I would be crazy if it had to be super cold all winter long, with the gray skies and all...truly depressing...and for some reason, no matter how adjusted I may seem, or how in love I am with where I am right in this moment.....I could not successfully handle that. I don't really like having to find things to be happy about constantly. I kinda like it when it comes easy....like a perfectly clear night with thousands of brightly shining stars....or a bright blue sky with a few picture making clouds and the warmth of the sun on your face.....its really about the little things....and gray is not my thing.

Happy Belated Single's Awareness Day

Yes...the accronym is SAD....but it's just the opposite....if there can be a day celebrating coupledom, there can definately be one celebrating freedom...i mean, being single. Too bad there aren't cards for that....I should market that in the card industry. So, the pics below represent why it is so great to be single...there is nothing wrong with having a little fun with the girls and some guy friends. It's really not that bad. No one should fight it....it's too exhausting anyway...just give in and enjoy it while it lasts....that's how i think everyone should live life anyway....taking each opportunity and making the most of every moment....cause it IS your life...and it's not happening TO you, but it WILL happen despite you and how you choose to view it....so embrace it!

Bachelorette parties always prove fun and...well... memorable (thanks to pictures...)
Why not relive the 80's? or any decade for that matter

The Un-Baby Name Book

no, no...no baby on board...just commentary on what not to name your kiddos...since i have the lucky misfortune of explaining to my little chicklets why their momma so destined them to be a stripper....imean, you have a whole 9 months to contemplate such an important issue....(or in the case of the moms i see perhaps a few less) you should pick out a few, then when the kid comes out...look at it and decide which name best fits....choose that....its not a last min. decision...didn't your momma tell you that if you have sex you should be prepared to name a human being and that it is legally binding...perhaps, she skipped over that when she failed to mention that it also causes pregnancy and forces responsibility in the most carefree individuals-going back to how they got into the predicament in the first place...but none the less, please do not take it out on your child, just b/c the other kids couldn't rhyme anything with your name during the banana song back in the day.

Names that should never even be considered and will be banned when I rule the world (I promise I or coworkers have seen all of these names...they are really too good to make up):
Lee Jeans, RaRa and ZaZa (obvs. twins), Alnight, Ecstasy and Pleasure, Stormy (or any other commentary on natural disasters or anything the weather channel might find appropriate to talk about), Placenta, Male, Female, Rowdy (you are just asking for it); any string of consonants starting with QQ that will never be pronounced correctly since in English we like a few vowells now and then; any rhyming twin names or variations of the same name (exp: darelle and darielle); twin names that just reverse the first name with the middle name for the sibling; any name that begins with some form of title such as king, prince, sir or queen; any twin names with the same name but adding numbers to the end to denote distinction

I'm keeping a list for future reference...don't make me put your kid on it!

1 day after the marathon, I thought, what would be the best activity for relaxing muscles....how about a little tramping around in the sand and giant rocks....it did prove fun....and so did the many trails we traversed
