Nashville

• Ok, this is what I'm going to miss the most about Nashville....all the friends I have made-strengthening the old ones and continually making new ones. I mean, I love Nashville....its heart, attitude, all its personality...but its mostly the people.

• I think I'm just having one of those moments that has extended its stay to a few days, without asking. I'm working out all the details for some life changes and while it was all incredibly scary at first, over the last few wks that energy has managed to silently melt into excitement. But, every now and again, when I'm not paying attention, the fear starts creeping up again and I get all sad, panicky, and start reaching for a brown paper bag as my world grows fuzzy around the edges.

• Someone tell me I'm crazy-crazy for going back to a place/time in my life where I felt alone and completely broken. Crazy for uprooting myself when I am the happiest I can ever remember and I finally finished planting roots (pretty long, strong ones at that) K, I know it's not all crazy-just sometimes I get a little annoyed when people's reactions are better than my own to the situation-i feel like it's a little fake. i know what I said and felt. What I'm saying is, I appreciate all those who respond by contorting their faces, gasp in shock, shake their head, throw their hands in the air and say...are you kidding me? you must be crazy. cause that's how I feel, most of the time. what happened to sane erin?...someone find her...and return her to me-quickly...my other personalities need a little balance and stability (all the time)!
  
  
  

It's picture time, picture time, picture time....

So it's time once again for a picture montage.....

It looks like fall, it smells like fall....but if it feels like spring, can it really be fall? (except for the perpetual darkness that's starting to get to me) we did have a wk where it got to the hi 30's, but today, it was a cool 81 baby! My running personality was loving the cool weather.

Halloween...means glitter and glam....unlike the popular belief of ears and sluttiness. You can't tell here, but it definately took a few days to deglitterize. And yes, i was the obnoxious girl in a crowded bar, dancing and knocking the crap out of people ALL night with my larger-than-previously-considered wingspan. The mummies were awesome!

And fair warning: it's precisely one month till...........wait for it............... festival for the souls of dead whales.....who can't celebrate that....oh u will, cause it may be the anniversary of the day my mom birthed me, but dead whales are having the best day ever. k, it's also human rights day and nobel prize day, but neither are worth throwing a party with sushi. So, mark your calendar......NOW!

Down with Daylight Savings

All I'm saying is there is something wrong when sunset is scheduled for 4:52 in the AFTERNOON! I hereby move that Nashville take notice of Arizona's great leadership and from this day foward actively not participate in daylight savings. Anyone else that would like to join us, would be joining a wonderful movement that oneday, just might be the solution to world peace (k, i'm just saying-cause you know its making u just a little crabby too)!

Do I hear a second? (see, I told you its not all dictatorship in my world)

Friday the 13th

Arggg! It's Friday the 13th and it's October....that's kinda scary!

So is anyone with me that this 30 degree daily temperature swing sucks? and that 90 one day and 40 the next isn't conducive to healthy living? My allergies are going crazy, I have 3 wardrobe changes a day, and we're losing daylight (which makes me incredibly sad; not Seasonal Affective Disorder, but truly sad. although, give it a few more wks and it could be both). At first, I was kinda excited abt the fall colors and slightly cooler weather, but it was only cause I forgot abt winter and its coming with vengence. Maybe flying south for the winter isn't such a bad idea after all. If I could have a hot beverage in hand, warm blankets, and a bonfire constantly it wouldn't be so bad, but alas, fires don't just work anywhere.
